On the occasion of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Egypt and Russia, Moscow will host "Treasures of Tutankhamun’s Tomb” exhibition on August 24.
A statement from the Russian Embassy in Cairo stated that the Golden King exhibition will house more than 100 pieces, including exact copies of the pieces found in his tomb.
The statement highlighted that Tutankhamun is considered a symbol of ancient Egypt in the modern world, and that his treasures gave scientists a huge amount of information to study ancient Egyptian art and caused a sensation in the archaeological world.
