The project of tanneries area development and planning

The project aims to

• Create new investment opportunities due to its proximity to Misr Al-Qadima area, Cairo's largest area combining Islamic and Coptic monuments in Egypt and the Middle East. 
• Serve the area through 3 main axes which are (Corniche El-Nil Road- Salah Salem Road- Magra El-Oyoun Road)
• Reduce environment pollution in the area
• Create development opportunities for the local society and creating new job opportunities by reusing the land in line with its economic value. 

The proposed plan of the project after relocating the tannery activity is as follows:

The idea of the solution depends on proposing the following activities (residential- service- commercial-leisure), taking into account flexibility when dealing with the site by demolishing and rebuilding in phases.

• Administrative center (5 acres)
