Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal inspected Sunday the repair work of an 800mm water pipe near Al-Helmeya Bridge in Al-Tagneed Square, Zaiton district.
The Central Operations Room of Cairo governorate received a report of a broken pipe causing water flooding in the street. Relevant authorities of the governorate and officials of the Water Company immediately responded and went to the scene to repair the pipe. Necessary traffic changes were made to repair the damaged pipe.
Moreover, the governor urged officials to complete pavement work to restore traffic flow as soon as possible.
The governor was accompanied by Deputy Cairo Governor Dr. Hossam Fawzy and several officials of Cairo governorate.
