About

23 October 2022

Minister of Petroleum Eng. Tarek El-Molla and Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal inaugurated the Cargas integrated gas station in the Fifth Settlement district as part of the presidential initiative to develop gas stations and expand the use of gas as a clean and safe fuel for the environment and vehicles as well as affordable for citizens.

During their tour, El-Molla and Abdel Aal also witnessed the inauguration of the Digital Customer Service pilot project designed and implemented by the Town Gas company. The project is the first of its kind through which the customer can submit requests for all natural gas delivery services anywhere. Its first phase will be in Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, Ismailia, and Port said cities.

The project also offers booking inspections and contracting appointments, measurements payment, and recharging prepaid meters. The pilot operation of the new service is starting today, and the Town Gas Company will gradually deploy it to meet the customer’s needs.

Moreover, El- Molla and Abdel Aal inspected the mobile customer service center of the Town Gas Company, which will also provide those services in residential areas and sports clubs to ease the delivery of services in distant places.

During the inauguration ceremony, El-Molla presented an honorary shield to Abdel Aal in appreciation of the governorate’s support and contributions to developing gas stations across Cairo.
