Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal inspected on Monday the ongoing development work in El-Gezira El-Wasta on Salah Salem Street that includes upgrading street lighting, green spaces and landscapes in the area.
The governor pointed out that this area is what tourists see first when they arrive in Egypt. He also ordered to plant more trees, especially around the famous statue in the middle of El-Gezira El-Wasta.
On the other hand, Chief of Cairo's Cleaning Authority Ehab El-Shershabi noted that the ongoing development work is a cooperation with one of the civil society institutions and includes the use of modern lights in the street to highlight the reforestation work.
