Cairo Portal has reaped the rewards of its hard work and continuous effort, began since the launching of the portal in 2003, aiming to provide all Cairo citizens and investors with all the information they need, and to encourage direct communication between citizens and policymakers. Cairo Portal has won the following awards:
Award for Best Distinctive Government Website
Cairo portal has won third place as Best Government Website in Egypt in the Government Excellence Competition held in 2008 and organized by Egypt's Ministry of State for Administrative Development.
Innovation Award for the Best Arab Government Website
Cairo portal has won Innovation Award under the municipality and governorates category in the Arab E-Government Shield Competition organized by the Arab Organization for Administrative Development in collaboration with Pan Arab Excellence Awards Academy (the Best Arab Government Website in 2010).
