Cairo Gov. attends SIS’s celebration of October Victory anniversary 
            Cairo
Governor Dr. Ibrahim Saber attended the ceremony held by the Cairo Media Center
within the Internal Media Sector of the State Information Service (SIS),
commemorating the 52nd anniversary of the October War victory.
The celebration was
also attended by Deputy Cairo Governor Eng. Mona Al-Batrawi; the Head of the
Internal Media Sector of the State Information Service; Military Advisor to the
Governor of Cairo, Brigadier General Staff Riyad Ramah; several officials from
the Cairo Governorate; the heroes of the October War; and veterans.
Governor Saber
stated that the victory of October 6 will remain a shining symbol in the
nation's history and an eternal epic embodying the greatness of Egypt's army
and its people, as well as their indomitable will. He further stated that our
heroes, who etched a page of glory and dignity with their blood and reclaimed
their land and status, imparted to the world the most remarkable lessons of
heroism, sacrifice, and national unity.
During his speech,
Saber expressed deep appreciation and pride in our brave armed forces—the
nation's shield and sword—who continue their legacy of dedication and sacrifice
in protecting our borders and safeguarding national security under the
leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the Supreme Commander of the Armed
Forces. In recognition of their invaluable sacrifices for the nation's
progress, he also praised the heroes of the October War. The celebration
featured a series of artistic performances and songs presented by children with
disabilities and school students, and several October War heroes were honored
as well.
