Cairo Governor Dr. Ibrahim Saber inaugurated the Employment and Training Forum. The forum is a collaborative effort between the Cairo Governorate and Helwan University and was held at the Faculty of Technology and Education in the Al-Amiriya neighborhood. The event featured participation from more than 12 companies and institutions, offering over 1,500 job opportunities for university students and graduates.

The forum was attended by Dr. Hossam El-Din Fawzy, Deputy Governor of Cairo; Dr. Hossam Al-Rifai, Vice President of Helwan University for Education and Student Affairs; Dr. Ahmed El-Geoushi, Head of the Supreme Council for Technological Education; and Dr. Wael Ibrahim, Dean of the Faculty of Technology and Education.

During the inauguration ceremony, Governor Saber stated that this forum aligns with the state's commitment to supporting youth and empowering them with genuine job opportunities, in accordance with the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and within the framework of Egypt's 2030 Vision for Sustainable Development.

Saber also highlighted that this forum exemplifies a successful collaboration between the university and the Cairo Governorate. It reflects the state's commitment to providing decent job opportunities for young people and preparing them for both the local and international labor markets.

Moreover, Saber added that the forum offers job opportunities in various fields, specializing in accounting, business administration, sales, marketing, administrative work, and customer service. The participating sectors include hypermarkets, manufacturing, real estate marketing, food, furniture, home appliances, restaurants, libraries, publishing, and clothing.

Governor Saber also stated that these initiatives aim to prepare young people and graduates to engage professionally in the work environment. He emphasized that the governorate is committed to providing full support and care for all employment forum events to ensure they yield tangible results benefiting both young people and the community. He added that these events offer an opportunity for direct communication between students, graduates, and business owners, which helps us understand the needs of the labor market and reduce the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
