Pyramids area

 

The Pyramids are located on Giza Plateau in Giza Governorate on the West Bank of the Nile. These three pyramids of Khufu, Khafra and Menqra are considered one of the seven ancient wonders of the world. The pyramids are considered as a unique architectural engineering achievement reflects the greatness of Egypt. The pyramids are guarded by the statue of Abulhul (Sphinx), that has a lion's body and a human head.

Sakkara

 

It is located about 27 km western Cairo. The most famous monuments in Sakkara area is The Step Pyramid as well as Unas and Userkaf Pyramids, in addition to the Serapeum. The Area of Sakkara also contain Menph city, one of the Pharaonic capitals, that houses the statue of Ramses II and the alabaster statue of Sphinx.

The Pharaonic Village is located at Sakia Mekki area in Giza Governorate. The idea of the Pharaonic village is to duplicate ancient Egyptian life. It displays and explains the history and art of ancient Egypt. It displays techniques of agriculture, industry, mummification, shipbuilding, perfume making, and food industry by using live shows.

Iun city "City of the Sun"

 

One of the most important archeological pharaonic areas known as Heliopolis "City of Helios" or Ain Shams, "Eye of the Sun.” as it is located in Ain Shams area. The city is one of the oldest capitals in the ancient Egypt and its most important archeological features is Senusert I Obelisk “Matria Obelisk” and it is the only remain landmark in this city.
