Cairo Governor Dr. Ibrahim Saber announced that the
“Correct Your Concepts” initiative will be launched simultaneously with its
official inauguration in the New Administrative Capital next Sunday, September
21.
Governor Saber stated that the initiative would be launched by the
Egyptian Ministry of Endowments under the patronage of Prime Minister Dr.
Mustafa Madbouli and the supervision of Minister of Endowments Dr. Osama
Al-Azhari. It arises from the collaborative national role of state institutions
and aims to promote a correct understanding of religion while rectifying
misconceptions that contradict the tolerant spirit of Islamic Sharia.
Moreover, Saber asserted full support for the initiative, which targets
all segments of society, especially youth, to promote a culture of moderation
and strengthen ethical and national values in a way that fosters stability and
social peace. It also contributes to building an enlightened religious
awareness that aligns with the principles of Islamic Sharia and the interests
of the nation.
Saber also praised the efforts of Minister of Endowments Dr. Osama Al-Azhari
for promoting enlightened, moderate thought that aligns with the true religion.
He emphasized the importance of such initiatives in addressing the intellectual
challenges facing society.
Sheikh Khaled Salah, Director of the Directorate of Endowments,
emphasized that the initiative focuses on raising community awareness through
lectures, seminars, lessons, and Friday sermons, as well as media campaigns and
educational publications. This approach aims to confront extremist ideology,
combat rumors, and address intellectual deviations.
