Madbouli discusses with Emirati officials future expansions in oil, gas industries
Egyptian Prime
Minister Mustafa Madbouli highlighted the depth of bilateral relations between
Egypt and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), noting the Egyptian government’s
keenness to deepen co-operation with the UAE in various fields, especially in
the field of economic co-operation.
This came during the
meeting held at the government headquarters in the New Administrative Capital
with Director of the Emirati Diwan of the Emirate of Fujairah Muhammad Saeed Al
Dhanhani, to review future expansion plans in the Egyptian market in the field
of oil and gas industries.
During the meeting,
Dhanhani reviewed future expansion plans in the Egyptian market in the field of
oil and gas industries, especially the signing of the initial agreement between
the Egyptian government, the Emirate of Fujairah and the Borouge investment
company.
The agreement will
contribute to strengthening relations in the field of oil and gas in terms of
implementing infrastructure projects and services in the petroleum sector in
Egypt, including the production, storage, trading, import, export, re-export
and refining of petroleum and its derivatives, in light of the company’s
experience in this field.
