Cairo Governor Dr. Ibrahim Saber conducted an inspection tour of Asmarat City to follow up on the availability of services provided to its residents.
During the tour, Governor Saber inspected several factories being established in the city in cooperation with civil society to provide job opportunities for the residents of Asmarat City and to review the progress of their implementation.
Saber said these factories would operate in eco-friendly, labor-intensive industries, such as garment and leather goods manufacturing. They would be managed under the supervision of the Syndicate of Applied Technicians.
Saber added that the workers would receive intensive training before starting work to ensure high-quality production.
Moreover, Governor Saber asserted the state's commitment to providing comprehensive care for the residents of Asmarat and all urban development projects established as alternative housing for unplanned areas. He added that all alternative housing projects underwent periodic inspections to ensure their sustained preservation.
Saber further praised the civil society organizations’ role in establishing these factories as part of community participation in the state's efforts to improve developed neighborhoods and provide services and job opportunities for their residents.
