Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal inspected Monday the anti-covid-19 vaccination center in the El-Nozha area to follow up on the inoculation process of the employees in the education sector and the procedures to facilitate their vaccination.
Abdel Aal pointed out that there are different types of anti-covid-19 vaccines at the vaccination centers across the country as part of the state's continuous efforts and keenness to diversify the sources of vaccine to protect the citizens and preserve the state's achievements in the fight against coronavirus pandemic.
The governor added that more than 50% of the employees in the education sector received the vaccine, including teachers and workers in public and private schools.
Moreover, the governor urged to vaccinate all the employees before the new academic year begins. He also called on citizens to register on the Health Ministry website to receive the anti-covid vaccine to reduce coronavirus infections and deaths.
The governor was accompanied by Director of the Education Directorate Mohammad Attia and Director of the Health Directorate Mohammad Shawky.
