Cairo International Festival for Experimental Theatre is organizing an art exhibition parallel to the 28th edition’s activities. The exhibition is to include distinctive and nontraditional pioneer theatrical designs. These designs to contain decorative items, costumes, lightings and scenography.

Hazem Chibl the festival’s board member declared that the priority in selections will be to the designs that are different, outstanding, special and has experimental approaches as well as the performance’ designs that are created in a special or nontraditional way.

Eng. chibl added that the submitted designs have to belong to performances that were already created and performed before. Chibl has set the deadline for submitting the theatrical designs to participate in the exhibition to be on October 31, 2021.

The submitted designs must include full data, footage of the performance, pictures of the stage as a whole all in a high resolution that shows the relation and connection between the design and the rest of the play’s artistic factors.

The selected designs will be announced within the first two weeks of November 2021, The exhibition will bear the cost of printing the accepted designs’ posters and providing the exhibition full equipment.
