Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal attended Wednesday the distribution of 3000 “President Sisi Gift to Citizens” food bags containing high-quality commodities to the most vulnerable families in the Marg neighborhood.
Abdel Aal said that the “President Sisi Gift to Citizens” initiative comes as part of the state’s efforts to alleviate burdens on citizens, noting that such initiatives reflect the successful partnerships among state executive bodies, NGOs, and civil society.
Moreover, the governor praised the role of civil society and NGOs in cooperating with state executive bodies to support the neediest families, asserting Cairo governorate’s support to all initiatives aiming to meet citizens’ needs.
The governor also visited the Productive Families Exhibition, which displays handmade products of female breadwinners and persons with disabilities.
The governor was accompanied by Deputy Cairo Governor Ibrahim Saber, several members of Egypt’s Senate and House of Representatives, and officials of Cairo governorate.
