Cairo Governor: free transit card for elderly people in Cairo

Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal instructed on Sunday Cairo's Public Transport Authority to issue free annual transit cards for elderly people over the age of 70 to ease the burden on elderly citizens in appreciation of their service to the country in different fields within the framework of state's efforts to provide all facilities to elderly citizens.

 

On the other hand, the Head of Cairo's Public Transport Authority Rezq Ali pointed out that the card would valid for year and can be issued from Public transport subscription offices at El-Abbasia, Al-Azhar University in Nasr City area, Attaba office, El-Mazlat office, and El-Giza office at 7 Murad Street.

 

Mr. Rezq also asserted that subscription offices work from 9 am to 2 pm, and citizens would only deliver a copy of national ID, 2 personal photos, and LE 5 fees for the card.
