Cairo Governor attends National Council for Women ceremony in Asmarat district

Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal attended on Monday the ceremony held by the National Council for Women to distribute 3000 Aman certificates to breadwinning women in Al-Asmarat district. The ceremony was organized by the National Council for Women in cooperation with Cairo governorate as part of the Decent Life initiative launched by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.  

 

The governor said that the initiative launched by the National Council for Women and several Egyptian banks comes in line with President Sisi's directives to support Egyptian women, especially breadwinners, as part of the societal role of civil society organizations in supporting this segment of society and working on solving the problems they face.

 

Moreover, the governor praised the role and efforts of the National Council for Women presided by Dr. Maya Morsi for empowering women, enhancing their role in the society as well as improving their economic and social conditions in light of the political and societal movement that the country is currently witnessing.  

 

During the ceremony, Abdel Aal hailed Egyptian women for taking on the responsibility of raising their children, adding that the Egyptian mother has always been a unique example of generosity and loyalty.    

 

 

On her part, Dr. Maya Morsi greeted President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi during the ceremony for providing decent homes for the citizens, assuring that the Asmara housing project is a global example that has a significant effect on all the families living there.
