Sisi urges officials to conduct study on Countryside Development projects

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi directed the bodies concerned on Tuesday to conduct thorough studies on current challenges that could face the projects of the Egyptian Countryside Development Company, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said.

 

President Sisi’s instructions came during his meeting with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, Irrigation Minister Mohamed Abdel Atti, Agriculture Minister El Sayed El Quseir, President’s Adviser for Urban Planning Major General Amir Sayed Ahmed, Director General of the National Service Projects Organization of the Armed Forces Major General Walid Abu Al-Magd, Chairman of the Egyptian Countryside Development Company Amr Abdel Wahab.

 

The study will focus on the supply of the irrigation water and its quality, and infrastructure components, especially those related to paving roads, electrical feeding systems, and developing wells, as well as doing additional activities on the company’s land to maximize its benefits.

 

The meeting reviewed the work progress of the project of 1.5 Million Feddan Project across the country.

 

They also reviewed efforts to apply governance rules, establish accurate databases to follow up the situation of the land, and set up a system for coding the company’s land, as well as preparing a comprehensive marketing plan for its land.
