Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel
Aal inspected Tuesday the Katameya Industrial Zone to follow up on its
development plan and deal with problems facing investors.
The governor was
accompanied by Deputy Cairo Governor Eng. Jihan Abdel Moneim, Cairo
governorate’s Secretary-General Alaa Rashad, Assistant Secretary-General
Ibrahim Awad, Head of Cairo’s Cleaning and beautification Authority Ihab
El-Shershaby, Director of the Housing Directorate Wael Hasan, Director of Road
and Transport Directorate Safaa Mosaad, and several executives of Cairo
governorate.
During his tour, Abdel Aal
visited some of the Katameya zone’s factories and trade fairs. He also met several
investors to discuss problems they face and directed officials to deal with
them as soon as possible.
The Katameya Industrial
Zone is on area of 127 acres divided into 222 land plots. Each plot is 2000 m2,
of which 44 acres are allocated for services area and 83 acres for commercial
and industrial activities, including trade fairs, car showrooms, furniture
factories, food packaging factories, and beverage factories.
