Governor Khaled Abdel Aal attended Sunday the 4th edition of Cairo
Water Week scheduled to be held from 24 October to 28 October 2021 under the
auspices of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
The Cairo
Water Week will be held under the title " Water, Population, and Global
Changes… Challenges and Opportunities". It aims to find sustainable
solutions for the management of water resources to confront overpopulation and rapid
changes in climate and lands that the world faces.
The
event will also address five main themes, including cooperation for water
resources management, advanced methods for water management, water and society,
water and global changes, innovations, and water data science.
Several
ministers and senior officials in the water sector will attend the water week
event alongside a host of scientists, experts from international organizations
and institutes, and civil society organizations from different countries of the
world.
