Cairo governor Khaled Abdel Aal urged Cairo's Religious Endowment Directorate to strictly apply the anti-COVID _19 precautionary and preventive measures issued by the Coronavirus Crisis Management Committee concerning Eid Al-Adha prayers, including banning the entry of women and children, maintaining social distancing, avoiding crowded areas, using private prayer rugs, and wearing face masks for the safety of citizens.
Moreover, the governor directed the officials of the Endowment Directorate to disinfect and sterilize mosques prepared for the prayers and urge citizens not to slaughter Eid Al-Adha's sacrifices in the streets.
