Cairo Governor makes a sudden inspection tour of Rod El-Farag, Nasr City districts
Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal made
a sudden inspection tour of Rod El-Farag district on Sunday to restore street
order. During his inspection tour, the governor inspected Sidi Farag Street and
directed the district's authorities to remove all street occupancies, trash
cans, iron barriers, dilapidated cars to ease traffic flow. He also ordered to
shut down coffee shops violating anti-COVID-19 precautionary measures and to
file reports against citizens for not wearing face masks on public
transportation.
Moreover, Abdel Aal instructed all districts'
chiefs to intensify crackdowns and direct interaction with citizens' complaints
and find rapid solutions.
The governor also directed to
immediately clean the streets from garbage and to withdraw driving license from
violating vehicles and take the necessary legal actions against violators.
Abdel Aal also inspected East Nasr
City district and shut down several education centers and coffee shops, violating
precautionary measures imposed by the state against COVID_19.
The governor added that he is following
the actions taken by the governorate's executive bodies to apply anti-COVID_19 preventive
measures to ensure citizens' safety.
