Within the framework of Cairo governorate's plan to eliminate informal settlements in Cairo and move street vendors to more civilized markets that have the necessary safety specifications and security requirements, Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal followed up the efforts of the executive bodies of Cairo's eastern area, Al-Nozha and Ain Shams districts, to relocate Souq Al-Nozha (Al-Nozha Market) on October 6th Street and Gesr El-Suez Street to expand the road.
Moreover, the governor followed up on the relocation of 160 vendors in the new temporary location on Abdel Aziz El-Masry Street until establishing a new market for El-Garage area vendors.
