Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal made a sudden inspection tour of several citizen service centers in Cairo's districts to follow up on the procedures of receiving reconciliation requests submitted by citizens over building violations to pay the reconciliation fees before the deadline stated by the government.
The governor visited Ain Shams district, Sharq Madinet Nasr district, Gharb Madinet Nasr district.
During his tour, the governor urges districts' chiefs to facilitate the procedures when receiving the requests and to remove any obstacles. He also listened to citizens' opinions and the obstacles they face.
Abdel Aal pointed out that the value of the reconciliation fees was reduced by 50% to encourage citizens to complete the procedures.
The governor said that they extended the work hours at all of Cairo's technology centers till 6 pm and that the work will continue on Fridays and Saturdays to ease overcrowding in municipal buildings and citizen service centers.
