Moreover, Shaarawi noted that he coordinated with the Minister of Religious Endowments to allocate stalls in the new market of El-Mataria, which is established in a building owned by the Religious Endowment Ministry.  He added that they agreed on some requirements for leases on the market stalls.

Shaarawi instantly directed to review the leases of car parking lots in the area and to remove all occupancies and abandoned cars from the external road leading to the Petrol companies complex.

Shaarawi also instructed that there would be constant cooperation between Cairo and Qalyubia governorates to finish all the ongoing development work of the axes leading to the new complex. He also ordered to quickly remove all occupancies and violations in the streets in coordination with security directorates.

On his side, Cairo Governor directed the chief of El-Mataria district to continually follow up on the removal of street occupancies in the area and to conduct a campaign by Cairo Traffic to lift all abandoned cars to ease traffic flow.

The governor also pointed out that the ongoing development work in El-Mataria area, including new roads and axes, will be a significant shift, especially after connecting El-Mataria with Benha-Shubra free road.
